Diocesan Scholarships

Ed & Anne Graykowski Memorial Scholarship Fund

We are blessed to announce the generosity of the late Ed and Anne Graykowski in funding scholarships for Alaska Native students who are active members of the Diocese of Fairbanks!

Five scholarships will be awarded two times per year with a $1,000 minimum award: 

• One (1) award for a student attending a Catholic elementary/junior high school (K-8) in Alaska
• One (1) award for a student attending a Catholic senior high school (9-12) in Alaska 
• Two (2) awards for a student attending any accredited college or university
• One (1) award for a student attending a vocational program

Scholarships will be awarded for the spring and fall semesters. Completed applications and letter(s) of recommendation must be postmarked by the applicable deadline shown below. Please read the scholarship guidelines carefully before submitting an application.

Catholic School/University Application Deadlines

• Spring Application Deadline: November 1
• Fall Application Deadline: May 31

Vocational School Application Deadlines

• Spring Application Deadline: August 31
• Fall Application Deadline: February 28 and May 31
