Donor Privacy Policy

If you are a donor to Catholic Bishop of Northern Alaska "CBNA," through an appeal or through our Alaskan Shepherd Newsletter, it is our policy to collect your postal address, email address, and phone number and send you periodic communications with information on support opportunities, new products, events, and other similar information. 

CBNA does not distribute information to its donors via postal mail, email, or phone on behalf of other organizations. 

CBNA does not sell postal addresses of our donors but through the co-op in which we participate, those postal addresses are made available to other organizations. 

We have been raising funds by direct mail for our diocese for over sixty years.  It is not the most ideal way to make possible our ministries here in this missionary diocese, but it has allowed us to sustain our programs and provide funding to transport our missionaries to areas without road systems. We are in a challenging position, located where we are, cut off from the 48 contiguous states.  We are unable to solicit help from our mission parishes—because it is the people living in these extreme climates, off the road-system, and in these remote subsistence areas that are the very people whom we serve and depend on our financial support to keep the doors to the church open, and the heat and lights on.

CBNA does not share or sell donor email addresses or donor phone numbers.
