Mass Times

The Diocese of Fairbanks faces unique challenges in publishing Mass times.

The parishes on the road system typically schedule additional Mass times in the summer months but those are dependent on the availability of priests. The vast majority of priests currently serving in the diocese are from other countries such as Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Poland, and they often travel to their home countries during the summer. The road system deacons try to help fill in those gaps with Communion Services and we have some priests from the lower-48 that come up to assist as well.

For these reasons, it is highly recommended that you contact a parish directly to confirm if a Mass or Communion Service will take place as scheduled. Please see the Parish Websites or the Parish Finder pages for contact information for our parishes.
